Chicken Chapati Roll

Ingredients:

  • Kenchic chicken breast, cut into strips
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup water, or as required
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 Chopped onions
  • 1 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Chopped dhania leaves
  • 2 cups of Unga
  • kachumbari (vegetable salad)

Method

  • To make the chapatti, mix together flour, oil, salt, and water. Knead for 5 minutes to form the dough. Roll the dough into a ball and press together with your palms. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a round shape.
  • Place the chapatti into a heated pan, flip over once you see bubbles start forming.
  • Add hot oil to the pan and place the chicken strips to cook for 2-3 minutes. Add peppers, paprika, mixed herbs, salt and pepper.
  • Fill the chicken into your chapatti. Add fresh kachumbari into the mixture and roll for the perfect bite sized meal.
